About Me

I have been fortunate to experience success in a variety of different fields described below. That experience has enabled me to create my business, SellingtoBanks.com, based on helping software companies that sell to banks to get high quality leads at the executive level. My goal is to help software companies improve the quality of the sales pipeline and increase win rates.

Athlete

In my younger years, I was part of a two-mile relay team dedicated to working hard together that attended the same high school and went on to Fordham University together. The results were a very long winning streak that produced both high school and collegiate national relay records.

Teacher and Coach

My first job was teaching English, business courses and coaching track & field at an inner-city high school in NYC. Many of the students came from homes that struggled to get by. Due to their hard work in class and/or on the track, a good number of my students and runners earned scholarships to major universities.

Analyst

After receiving an M.B.A. Finance, I worked at Goldman Sachs analyzing the performance of banks and financial services companies in the Fortune 500. I learned from expert analysts that covered the banking industry and specialized in analyzing bank performance. This gave me a strong foundation in researching banks and analyzing the strategy of banking executives in solving their business problems and achieving their business objectives.

Software Sales Professional

The next 25 years I enjoyed success in software sales selling to banks and managing sales teams. The companies I worked for are either now owned by or competing with CA, IBM, Oracle or SAP.

When combined witj my experience at Goldman Sachs, my sales background  helped me analyze a bank's business challenges and business objectives of senior banking executives and This helped me align value propositions with banking prospects' business objectives and initiatives. This led to over $ 100MM in software sales during this time.

Copywriter
